SpeedTraps notifies drivers when entering speed camera areas and it uses the current location and a local stored database with camera positions provided by www.POIplaza.com
SpeedTraps also notifies about live traffic events submitted by the user community or gathered from different traffic data providers.

What are the supported mobile platforms?
SpeedTraps is available on the following mobile platforms:
- iPhone 3G and above
- Android
- Nokia
What is offline mode?
SpeedTraps can be used in offline mode to get basic notifications when approaching fixed and mobile speed cameras.
In offline mode there is no internet connection required and no data traffic. Also the map feature and live reports features are not available.
How much data traffic is required in online mode?
SpeedTraps uses an internet connection when online mode is activated. Depending on the map usage and number of live traffic events the traffic can reach to several MB per day.
